when looking for a solution online people say when it gets stuck just leave it and it will continue updating however in my case my PC automatically restarts during the update after getting stuck at 27% for 10/20 minutes. I download the update and when it finally begins to install it gets to 27% and then restarts, however, it tries to boot into windows but fails so it restarts again 2 more times before finally giving up and restoring to 1709. I am trying to update windows from my current version (1709) to the latest version however when I go into settings and check for updates it sometimes says I'm up to date and other times it says it is downloading update 1809 which obviously isn't the latest version. I know this is probably seen a lot on this subreddit but I've tried many solutions and didn't know where else to ask apart from the windows forums (which I will be doing).
